Jason Gay
Principal
Principal Jason Gay began at Warwick Christian College at the beginning of 2019 as the Head of Secondary
He was previously at Emerald Christian College where he was responsible for the English and Humanities department, as well as being heavily involved in the College’s pastoral care program.
Jason is passionate about Christian schooling in Regional Queensland and looks forward to investing in Warwick Christian College over the long term.
Jason has a Bachelor of Education, Secondary as well as a Graduate Diploma in School Leadership and Management. He also holds Diplomas in Leadership and Business Management.

Malcolm Oosterbeek
Head of Secondary
Malcolm Oosterbeek was appointed Head of Secondary in 2022, having previously served as the Director of Sports & Activities and School Dean at Redlands College Brisbane. Prior to working at Redlands College as the Director of Sport, he served as the Head of PE.
Malcolm has been fortunate to be part of forming and educating students across many countries and schools including NZ, Asia and Borneo. Malcolm’s teaching spans the private and independent sector as well as for Education Queensland, with a culmination of 20 years of teaching practice.
Malcolm is passionate about education, and believes a good educator, first, has a powerful faith in the future. “Like the forester planting an oak seedling knowing he or she will never see the tree in all its glory, I know I may never see the fruits of my labors as an educator”. My calling is to plant and nurture seeds that will grow and shape tomorrow, creating resilient learners who can think for themselves.
Malcolm has a Bachelor in Exercise Science, a post grad Diploma in Teaching and a Cert IV in Fitness, as well as having completed many leadership courses and training.

Debra Stone
Head of Primary / Inclusive Education
Debra commenced with Warwick Christian College at the beginning of 2021.
She is currently the Head of Inclusive Education and is responsible for ensuring inclusive practices are visible within the everyday life of the College across the Primary, Secondary and Southern Downs Flexible Learning Hub.
Debra works in partnership with the Heads of Departments to mentor and support staff in the delivery of personalized learning programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum or Senior Studies Subjects and Certificates.
She is passionate about student welfare and intentionally strives to equip students to manage their lives in a positive, proactive way no matter their age.
Debra has served across all sectors of education in many roles including Head of Special Education, Head of Student Services, Foundation Director of an Early Learning Centre, Curriculum Coordinator, Literacy Coach, and classroom teacher in Primary, Special Education and Kindy.
Debra holds teaching qualifications in Early Childhood, Primary and Special Education and has completed numerous leadership courses and training to provide relevant skills for leadership within a school context.

Scott Stone
Head of Southern Downs Flexible Learning Hub
Scott commenced at Warwick Christian College as Head of Southern Downs Flexible Learning Hub at the beginning of 2021.
With a new Team, he has endeavored to develop a positive environment to engage students in school, work and the community.
He has 35 years’ educational experience in TAFE, Secondary and Special Education across Christian, Catholic and Queensland Education schools.
Positions of leadership include Associate Director of TAFE, Head of Technology and Design, VET Coordinator and RTO Manager.
Also, Scott has trade experience as a Boilermaker (Metal Fabrication) and has a cane train named after him as part of his work in converting 44-ton diesel trains at the Bundaberg Foundry.
Qualifications include Bachelor of Education (Adult Learning and Leadership), Diploma of Teaching (Secondary), Trade Certificate (Boilermaking) and a Certificate IV in Training and assessing. He enjoys sport, especially soccer, cricket and running, and is a Senior Referee (Football-Soccer).
